On November 22, 2017 Beatrice Rana returned to the stage of Royal Festival Hall in London to play Prokofiev’s Third Piano Concerto with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Michail Jurowski. The concert got rave reviews of the main British newspapers:

“Beatrice Rana forcefully pranced through Prokofiev shifting moods, with the orchestra crisp by her side. Her best playing came with her Debussy encore, the toccata from Pour le piano, shaded and shaped with a range of nuances wider than anything allowed by Prokofiev’s exhilarating jumble.” – The Times

“Looking not unlike a mermaid in her silvery dress, Rana delivered a highly sensitive account, hands splashing across the keyboard with great delicacy. ” Bachtrack

“At the age of 24 Beatrice Rana has already garnered a reputation as a pianist of great character and vitality, and Prokofiev’s Third Concerto seemed tailored to show off her exciting virtuosity. Though her posture is almost immobile her fingers seem to have limitless dexterity. Rana projected the contrasting nature of the various episodes with needle sharp pianism, some lovely, pearly and expressive playing in the more reflective music sharply contrasted with scintillating drive and high tension elsewhere.” Seen and Heard International
